David E Wilson
Certified Public Accountant, Certified Systems Professional
A 1963 graduate of the US Air Force Academy, Mr. Wilson was a pilot and maintenance officer in the USAF from 1963 until 1972. He completed his MBA from Central Michigan University in 1973. He passed the CPA examination immediately on graduation and went to work with Arthur Andersen and Co. in Tampa, Florida. In 1976, Mr. Wilson established his own firm in Plant City, Florida. In 1984, the firm was merged with another regional firm and Mr. Wilson began teaching at Central Michigan University. This followed immediately with an associate professorship at Ferris State University. A request from the County School Board in Jacksonville, Florida, led to tenure as Assistant Superintendent, Finance.

Following seven years in public education where he had such diverse responsibilities as transportation, data processing, warehousing and of course, budget and finance, Mr. Wilson returned to public accounting opening the firm office in Interlochen, Michigan. In addition, Mr. Wilson currently teaches in the Traverse City Accounting and Computer Information Systems program for Ferris State University. Mr. Wilson is current in CPE in both states and both certifications (Certified Public Accountant and Certified Systems Professional) and has completed the AICPA Governmental Training Program.
William R. Cain
Certified Public Accountant
A 1973 graduate of Central Michigan University, Mr. Cain served with Kupferberg, Goldberg and Neimerk of Chicago, Illinois until moving to Saginaw, Michigan where he served with Rehman, Robson and Company. In 1983, Mr. Cain purchased the Mt. Pleasant office which he has maintained until the present. Mr. Cain has worked with Mr. Wilson on previous engagements to include the American Baseball Coaches Association, the City of Manistee, Manistee Blacker Airport and Manistee County. Mr. Cain is current in CPE. Mr. Cain also acts as reviewer and backup partner to insure the maintenance of quality standards. His most recent inspection was conducted in January of 2002. He is also a rated pilot and aircraft owner.
Donna Jean Barker
Senior Accountant, Certified Public Accountant
Ms. Barker graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1981 with a Bachelors Degree in Accountancy. She accepted a position with the Busch Entertainment Corporation as an Area Supervisor, and then the Marriott Corporation as a Controller for Hotel Division. She joined Seidman in 1986 as a general accountant. She was the Senior Auditor of a publicly traded company operating in the computer industry and was also responsible for the filing of SEC reports. In 1989 she left public accounting for a short period to raise a family and in 2002 returned to public accounting.
Robert J. Klein
Staff Accountant
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University in 1987, Mr Klein worked in engineering for the University of Michigan until returning to school and obtaining his degree in accounting in 1996. Mr Klein relocated to the Traverse City area and has been working in Industry until joining the firm in 1998. He has been an auditor on several governmental and not-for-profit audits.
